RJ Staffing is Hiring an ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER Near MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ
Large and well-established commercial kitchen supplier is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to join their team.
Hours are Monday - Thursday 8 : 00am - 6 : 00pm and Friday 9 : 00am - 1 : 00pm. Salary depends on experience. Company offers health and dental (employee-paid and then company pays a contribution with more tenure), 401(k) with 3-5% match, and PTO.
This position is eligible for RJ-Staffing bonus pay while temp.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations
- Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate work
- Implement and maintain safety and security protocols in the warehouse
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to increase productivity and efficiency
- Ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Analyze and report on warehouse performance metrics
- Assist in managing and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery
Qualifications :
- Experience in warehouse management or a related field
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and logistics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
